Today, Alexander completed a service call after my tenant reported water leaking under the system.  Alexander was great in communicating with me about his finding and what he did. I had a specialist come out for lack of airflow in a particular room, and general maintenance, and I had Rigo at my house. His explanation of everything going on, where he was at in the process, all of the findings and issues I had were very clear, with photos. He then came back with a solution that was fairly priced, and very much fixed an issue I didn’t even know I had. My air conditioner is working much better now. I've dealt with 6 different HVAC companies in the Los Angeles area thus far and MightyServ blows all of the other companies out of the water. Amazing service. MightyServ is transparent and don't try to upsell you on parts that aren't actually broken like other companies do. The only company that actually respected my home by protecting the floor with a mat and shoe covers. Actually on time. Showed up the same day I called. I had Nathan come to my apartment to service my HVAC unit and he was training a technician. Both couldn't have been nicer or more professional. Excellent installation and Exceptional maintenance of our Carrier heating and air conditioning system. We had the UV air scrubber installed recently and it works great! If our system fails for any reason, we have  priority access to an HVAC technician. (I believe our  system has never failed because we purchased an excellent system and we have regular maintenance.) Marlon Gonzalez is our recent maintenance technician. He is an example of the reliable and experienced people who are employed by Canoga Park MightyServe Heating & Air Conditioning. I have used Mighty Serve for a year now. Today Shawn arrived on time and ready to go during the torrential rains this morning (2/16/26). Shawn took care of 2 Furnaces. One in the attic and one in the garage. Shawn asked me if I wanted to have the filters changed before going ahead without asking me. I liked that!  Shawn showed me the filters which indeed needed replacement. Shawn was efficient, knowledgeable, polite and held a professional albeit friendly attitude. Brian Barrera from MightyServ came out right away when I called because my air conditioning was not working.  He was very diligent and carefully inspected the available power, the thermostat and the A/C unit itself which was on the roof of the condominium building.  He explained his findings and communicated his recommendations.  After his made the required repairs to get the air conditioning working again, he evaluated the system to see that it was working well.  I would definitely use MightyServ again. He is very hard-working and diligent in accomplishing his task. He took before and after photos for our records and left our home as he found it. My service was fabulous. Marlon and Juan were absolutely wonderful and did a very thorough job. They made me feel extremely comfortable and informed me of where they were going and what would be done. After checking the thermostat inside and changing our filter, they proceeded to do maintenance on the outside unit. Our unit is on the roof, and they were fully prepared to get up there. I had a stroke 2 years ago and am not entirely mobile, I do all right around the house, it is probably harder for me than anyone visiting. Marlon called my husband to say they could do the service without disrupting my day. My husband said it was just fine to knock on the door, which it was, and they were only here for about an hour. June 2, 2026 - Jeremiah M arrived when they said he would. So courteous. Went right to work. He changed the filter in the attic and did the regular maintenance work and also checked the condenser outside (our last visit we were told they don’t do that anymore). He said we’re ready for this summer. Everything was quick and easy. A great visit! Thank you. January 15, 2026, Jose Martinez was nice and was in and out relatively quickly. I’m not a fan of the new appointments. They give you a date but no time and someone will update you throughout the day. I’d rather know what time to expect the technicians arrival. Also, apparently, they don’t check-out the AC unit anymore during the appointment unless you request it. This visit was 6 month HVAC maintenance, on the furnace. I feel like Mighty Serve is taking away from the small business attention we loved with Canoga Park Heating and Air. Aug 29, 2025, Brian Barrera was wonderful! Right on time and such a warm and friendly person. He replaced our filter and cleaned and checked the main unit. He also gave us some money saving tips which we really appreciate. Such an easy appointment. I hope he’ll come back again. We are SO HAPPY with the service we receive from Mighty Serve. Thank you. Feb 2025, Collin “Miklos” Rogers came for our cleaning and maintenance. Very nice and friendly. Took care of everything for us. As always, we were very happy. Thanks •May 26, 2022 - Nathan was here for our 6 month HVAC check up and new filter. He arrived on time and was very friendly. He offered 2 new “add-ons” that sounded like great ideas but we’re very costly and not something we could purchase at this time. I wish the company had alerted us to these options in advance so we could save for them. One was some sort of filter to help with allergies, an air scrubber, (around $1300!!!) and a condenser surge protector for the unit in case of a power outage (around $300). That’s a considerable amount. It will have to wait for now. Oh, and he reset our thermostat. We prefer it to heat at 69 degrees and cool at 77 degrees, so I had to reset his reset (heat at 70 and cool at 73) (I just read my last review and it looks like the surge thing was supposedly added the last time we had service. Hmm, I wonder why it was offered again?) Nathan did a good job. Thanks. •Aug 11, 2021 capacitor died 😢 (replaced it in 2018) Our superhero, Jose Garcia to the rescue! He replaced the capacitor and added something to prevent surges from power outages (we have them when it gets hot) that can drain the capacitor or ruin the compressor. Feeling the cool air again! Nice! So glad he was able to come out so quickly. Thanks! •May 5th, 2021 Jose Rivera is GREAT! Such a nice guy! He was on time and so courteous and Covid safe. He came in, accessed the filter and lines and main unit. He gave us a complete run-down on everything and replaced the filter and cleaned up and set us up for a payment schedule and was done in about 30 minutes. Such a pleasure to have him here today. •9/25/20 Kevin Castro came today to search for the smell we keep smelling coming from the AC. He did a thorough inspection and did not locate any problem. He was on time, with a mask and so nice. He told us about another service that can be done to eliminate contaminates in the air and we will be looking into it and may have them come back to set this up for us. We were really happy with our service, again, today. •Allan just came for another filter replacement and unit check. Everything went well. He was in and out in no time and wore a mask the whole time. Always a good experience. Thank you! Last time: Allan was just here to replace our AC filter and do a check up on our unit. He was on time and thorough in checking everything out. I have used MIghtyServ (previously Canoga Park Heating AC) for many years for purchase and installation of new HVAC system. From the sales person, to the installers, to the inspectors ...all were highly responsive and professional. They are willing to work with you to meet competitor prices. On the installation all was to code. After the install, their quality technician spent 4 hours to ensure the work was properly done. The whole experience was great. I got a call from the office asking when I was available for my 6 month AC checkup. I had completely forgotten and I appreciate the call as a member. Day of appointment was smooth. I got regular text messages letting me know I was in the system and then a time window. 40 mins before arrival I got a call saying the technician was on the way. Shawn Reyes was fantastic. Very friendly and respectful. He put boot covers on his shoes before coming into the house. He spent a long time in the attic and on the roof checking everything was okay. While he did tell me a part was nearing end of life expectancy he didn't try and upsell me on it and said we could leave it since it was working fine. He also asked for a hose that would reach the top of the roof since he said the condensor was looking grimy and was kind enough to also wash off solar panels when I asked him to since he was up there.
